CSP models: Direct or Indirect?

Partners who would like to join the CSP program and sell Microsoft cloud solutions to their customers can choose from one of two models, each with their own benefits and requirements. As a Microsoft CSP Indirect Provider, Resello can support CSP Indirect Resellers in Europe, we can also support CSP Direct Bill Partners (worldwide) to transition into becoming Indirect Resellers.

 

Indirect Resellers (in Europe*)

Many resellers prefer the indirect model and partner with a CSP Indirect Provider (like Resello) for the support and billing infrastructure they need to sell through CSP. This is good for partners who want to fully leverage the benefits of selling Microsoft cloud services, with a short time to market  but without the large upfront investment. Direct Bill Partner (worldwide*)

Direct Bill Partners work directly with Microsoft and are responsible for the entire customer relationship, including strict requirements for provisioning, support, invoicing and automation. Direct Bill Partners must also exceed a 300.000 USD annual revenue threshold, and purchase a monthy support package with Microsoft. 

Direct Bill Partners who wish to transition into becoming an Indirect Resellers, and who are active in one of more of 42* European countries can choose Resello as their Indirect Provider. We support these partners with a healthcheck, tooling and consultation to make this transition as smooth as possible.
